The Tennessee State School Bond Authority, created in 1965, is a corporate governmental agency and instrumentality of the State of Tennessee whose purpose is to finance capital projects for public institutions of higher education located in Tennessee and to finance projects approved pursuant to the Qualified Zone Academy Bond Program and Qualified School Construction Bond Program of the federal government for local education agencies.
