Under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, the Division of Health Provider Review (HPR) performs rate computation and attestation functions for the state’s Medicaid program. The functions include reimbursable cost computation and examinations of nursing facilities; reimbursable rate computation and examinations for intellectual and developmental disabilities facilities; rate computation and examination services for federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics participating in the Medicaid Program; and examinations of Managed Care Contractors jointly with the Department of Commerce and Insurance.
