Higher Education Perks

At the Comptroller’s Office, we encourage staff to continually grow through learning, development, and education. In addition to tuition waivers for employees and discounted tuition for dependents, we offer resources to assist employees in obtaining additional training or a job-relevant license, certification, or designation.

License, Certification, and Designation Policy

Employees are encouraged to obtain licenses, certifications, or designations relevant to their work and to keep those certifications active. The Office will assist employees by covering up to $3,500 in study materials and exam fees. Employees may also receive a pay increase for obtaining specific job-relevant licenses and certifications.
