Work-Life Balance

We understand that employees have much to balance, both within and outside of work. To assist staff members with this dynamic, flexible options may be available in addition to annual and sick leave and paid holidays.

Flexible & Hybrid Scheduling

The Comptroller’s Office works a standard 37.5-hour week. Most employees work 7.5 hours a day; however, depending on business needs, some employees have opportunities to work a flexible schedule.
Additionally, after an initial training period and, based on business needs, some positions are provided the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with some remote work.

Annual and Sick Leave

New employees earn 90 hours each of annual leave and sick leave on their hire date. Annual and sick leave carry over year to year, and annual leave accrual increases with service.
